So I was at work today listening to the pod, and xiu xiu came on. Immediately I think of matt mc. And I remembered our rediculous conversations we had in a soccer class from high school. One in particular. He had me convinced that the lead singer from everytime I die eats his own shit and there was a video of it on the internet. I looked and searched for this thing for weeks and eventually asked him about it. It turns out he was joking. But anyway when I thought about that at work, I literally lol'ed. Just a funny moment from my day. Thanks matt.

one of the reasons you might say these things is they're straight up funny as fuck

reminds me a lot of that game we played a couple times making up words. some words were fake and some weren't. the challenge was to make convincing words that people believed were real. someone also had to try to discern the real words from the newly made-up ones
